Steamboat Bill Jr.

Steamboat Bill Jr. was a 1928 silent romantic comedy, directed by Charles Reisner (story by Carl Harbaugh ).

William Canfield Jr. (Buster Keaton) visits his father (Ernest Torrence ) who runs a steamboat, and falls in love with the daughter of John James King (Tom McGuire ) who is his father's business rival.

The movie was parodied by Walt Disney's "Steamboat Willie", which also was the first Mickey Mouse movie to become commercially successful.
