Stephen L. Carter

Stephen L. Carter born October 26 1954 is an American law professor , legal- and social-policy writer, and novelist.

His policy writings include the following books:

  • The Culture of Disbelief (1994), which describes, and opposes, barriers to visibly religiously motivated participation in public life.
