Stephen Abbott (Steve Abbott) is an Australian comedian who is famous for his portrayal of oddball characters, particularly one known as The Sandman . He is also an actor in both serious and comedic roles, and is married to actress Angela Moore .

Born in Broken Hill, New South Wales in 1956, he studied at Newcastle University.
