Steve Ferrone is a drummer, who has worked with such high-profile names as Eric Clapton, Anita Baker, Duran Duran, Jeffrey Osborne , George Benson and Chaka Khan.

Ferrone became internationally known while playing with the Average White Band during the 1970s. Currently (2004), he is the drummer for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
