Steven Adler

Steven Adler was part of the original line-up of the legendary Guns N' Roses. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 22 of 1965. He met future GnR guitarist Slash as a teenager and the two formed a band (Road Crew) which split up and eventually joined forces with Axl Rose, Izzy Stradlin, and Duff McKagan to form GnR. Steven drummed on two of GnR's albums, "Appetite for Destruction" and "GnR lies". When Axl insisted that the band clean up their drug habit, all members except for Steven took notice. He was fired in 1991 and replaced by Matt Sorum. Steven continued with drugs and eventually suffered a stroke which impairs his speech. Now clean, Steven drums for his band Adlers Appetite , formerly Suki Jones . He is still in contact with Izzy, and has repaired his friendships with Slash and Duff.
