Strathclyde Business School

Located in Glasgow Scotland Strathclyde Business School is one of the five schools which comprise Strathclyde University

A pioneering UK business school the University of Strathclyde Graduate School of Business started offering a full time one year MBA in 1966, the UK first school to do so. It now offers MBA and DBA degrees and specialist Masters courses in Business Information Technology and Business and Management. Of the approximately 2000 students about 150 study full time at the school with the rest taking distance learning or part time degrees.

It has full accreditation from the three main international accrediting bodies (AMBA, AACSB and EQUIS) being one of a handful of schools to do so.

Recent years have seen the prestige of the school slip somewhat largely due to increased competition from recent entrants to the MBA market such as Oxford University and Cambridge University.

Strengths include Strategic Management, Leadership and Scenario Planning . Much of the learning experience is facilitated by the extensive and compulsory use of group work.
