(Redirected from Sue Kelly)

Sue W. Kelly (b. September 26, 1936) is a politician from the state of New York, currently representing the state's 19th Congressional district (map).

Kelly was born in Lima, Ohio and she graduated from Dennison University . Kelly worked as a patient advocate and an educator. When Congressman Hamilton Fish, Jr. decided not to seek re-election in 1994, Kelly decided to run for Congress as a Republican. Kelly defeated Fish's son to win the seat in the United States House of Representatives. Kelly has a middle of the road voting record, although she did criticize Hillary Rodham Clinton as a "carpetbagger" when Hillary ran for the Senate from New York.
