Sunrise/Back to the Future were the most widely publicised Acid House promoters in the UK. They staged a series of large scale events in venues such as aircraft hangers , equestrian centres and large warehouses. Run by public school-boy Tony Colstonhayter the organisation were front-page news in the UK for two weeks.

They were instrumental in organising the Freedom to Party demonstrations and the free parties that followed alongside Genesis'88, Biology (parties) and Weekend World .
