Sunshine Superman

"Sunshine Superman" is the title of a 1965 song written and recorded by British popular musician Donovan; it is also became title track of his 1966 album of the same name.

The song is generally considered to be one of the first examples of the musical genre which came to known as psychedelia, in which the lyrical and/or musical content was influenced or inspired by the use of hallucinogenic drugs, notably LSD.

The song was recorded in Los Angeles and was the first fruit product of the highly successful three-year collaboration between Donovan and famed pop producer Mickie Most.
