Surefire

Surefire is a California-based company which specializes in producing high quality flashlights. Commonly found within the law enforcement and military fields, and have been gaining ground in the civilian market.

Surefire produces a wide range of models, from a typical 2-cell Xenon light, all the way up to a massive 20-cell HID model. They have also recently introduced a line of LED flashlights which offer several unique features not commonly found in a flashlight, such as computer-controlled power regulation, and modular assembly.

Almost all of their flashlights are powered by Lithium 123A batteries, which allows for compact size and weight, while maintaining high power output and long runtime. Rechargeable NiCad batteries are also available. The main material used in the construction of Surefire flashlights is CNC machined aerospace grade aluminum, with an option for mil-spec anodizing. Alternately, Nitrolon can be specified, which is an impact-resistant, non-conductive polymer.
