Suresh Gopi is a popular Malayalam actor famous for roles as a cop. He started his career doing antihero roles with his role in Irupatham nootandu being the most notable. He later went on to get roles as a hero. His major success as a hero came with the film Thalastanam followed by a sequence of action movies like Ekalaivan, Commissioner and Kashmiram. He got the award for Indian best actor for the film Kaliyattam.
