Echt-Susteren is a municipality in the southeastern Netherlands.

Echt-Susteren was created by merging the former municipalities of Echt and Susteren.

Echt is a former municipality. Echt received city rights in 1343.
Nieuwstadt
Nieuwstadt is located about 2 km south of Susteren. It received city rights in 1271.
