Swimfan

Swimfan is a 2002 thriller film directed by John Polson.

The film depicts the life of Ben Cronin played by Jesse Bradford who has everything going for him—a girlfriend, Amy Miller played by Shiri Appleby and the fact that he does well at sports. Only a new girl moves into town, and almost ruins his life. The general plot of the story seems to indicate it as a modern remake of Fatal Attraction.

Plot

Ben Cronin (Jesse Bradford) is an athlete who once had a drug problem. He is aspiring to be an Olympian, and is training to impress a scout coming to watch him from Stanford. He is in love with his girlfriend Amy Miller (Shiri Appleby) and is a good son, working with his mother in a hospital. When a girl named Madison Bell (Erika Christensen) transfers to his school, he is seduced by her and then rejects her in favour of his girlfriend. She becomes obsessed by him and turns his life into a living hell.
