Takht-i-Suleiman is probably the most important of the major four-five Zoroastrian Fire-temple-complexes in Iran. It is built around a circular lake, and is one of Iran's most impressive archeological places, well worth the detour from either Hamadan, Qazvin, Orumiyeh , or Tabriz.
