The Virginian

The Virginian is an early American novel that was made into several films, a television series, and a Broadway play. It is also the name for a an music album by Neko Case and Her Boyfriends, released on Mint Records in 1997.

The Virginian (novel) - by American author Owen Wister

Motion pictures:

  1. The Virginian (1914 film) - a silent film directed by Cecil B. DeMille and starring Dustin Farnum ;
  2. The Virginian (1923 film) - a silent film directed by Tom Forman and starring Kenneth Harlan and Florence Vidor ;
  3. The Virginian (1929 film) - a silent film directed by Victor Fleming and starring Gary Cooper, Walter Huston and Richard Arlen;
  4. The Virginian (1946 film) - directed by Stuart Gilmore and starring Joel McCrea and Brian Donlevy.
