Transleithania

Transleithania (German Transleithanien, derived from Latin to mean Land beyond the river of Leitha, counted from the Austrian side) is a colloquial name for the Lands of the Holy Hungarian Stephen's Crown, the countries of the Hungarian part of Austria-Hungary, the Dual monarchy which was created in 1867 and dissolved in 1918.

It included the Kingdom of Hungary (which at the time included Transylvania), Croatia and Slavonia, and the state of Fiume (Rijeka).
