The Université du Québec is a system of ten provincially-run public universities in Quebec, Canada. Its headquarters are in Quebec City.

The university has over 76,000 students, making it the largest university in the province, and offers more than 300 programs. It was created in 1968 by an act of Quebec's National Assembly.

The component institutions are:

• the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), in Montreal;
• the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT), with campuses in Val-d'Or, Rouyn-Noranda, and other towns;
• the Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO), in Gatineau;
• the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR), in Trois-Rivières;
• the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC), in Saguenay;
• the Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR), in Rimouski;
• the École de technologie supérieure (ETS), in Montreal;
• the Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS), in Quebec City and greater Montreal;
• the École nationale d'administration publique (ENAP), in Montreal, Quebec City, Gatineau, Trois-Rivières, and Saguenay; and
• the Télé-Université or l'Université à distance (TELUQ), a correspondence school headquartered in Quebec City and Montreal.
