Upton was a village, and is now a suburb of the unitary authority of Slough in Berkshire. Prior to the 1974 boundary changes, it was formerly in Buckinghamshire.

It has a 19th century half-timbered building called "The Mere".

The parish church of St Laurence, Upton was the marriage place (May 7 1788) and burial place (1822) of Sir William Herschel.
