All ALoan in the night

I am a tax lawyer. In a previous life, I was an astronomer. My main interests include tax, law, the physical sciences (particularly astronomy), and cricket, but I am also interested in pretty much everything else.

I used to take a particular interest in Collaboration of the week and UK collaboration of the week. My interest in those pages has waned of late, but I still pop along occasionally. I also frequent Featured article candidates, Featured article removal candidates, Peer review, and Requested moves quite often. I also created and keep an eye on the United Kingdom Wikiportal

I have contributed as ALoan, 80.229.137.127 and 193.128.231.252, and became an administrator on 11 October 2004 (for reasons best not discussed, I became a bureaucrat for a short while too).
