Utupurshi

Utupurshi (Utupursi) (ca 810 BC-770 BC) was a king of the ancient Caucasian kingdom of Diaokhi known as Daiaeni to the Assyrians.

Defeated and subdued by the Urartan King Menuas (810-786 BC), he rose against the next Urartan ruler Argishtis I (r. 786 BC -764 BC ), but was again defeated and had to cede several provinces to Urartu and pay an annual tribute. Nothing else is known about him.
