Van Wesenbekestraat

Van Wesenbekestraat is the street in Antwerp (Belgium) where the little Chinatown of the city is settled. It contains a lot of Asian restaurants, the biggest Asian supermarket in the country (Sun Wah), a Buddhist temple and even a school for mastering kungfu. Both at the entrance and the end of the street, two Chinese lions guard the inhabitants. The street is also decorated with flags and dragon-shaped streetlights to point out the typical character of the street. At the end of 2006 it will even receive its long expected Chinese gate.
