Victor Salva (born March 29, 1958 in California) is an American film director. His body of work includes the films Powder and Jeepers Creepers. His directing career has been overshadowed by a child molestation scandal, which he was convicted of in 1988.

In 1995, the boy he molested (then in his 20s) publicly boycotted his film Powder, to bring attention to Salva's sexual misdeeds, which may have contributed to the film's the less-than-stellar box office.
