Zooropa

(Redirected from Wanderer (U2 song))

Zooropa is an album by the Irish alternative rock band U2. It was released in May 1993 by Island Records. Zooropa continued U2's experimentation with electronica, techno, and other predominantly European forms of music first demonstrated on the album's predecessor, Achtung Baby. However, unlike Achtung Baby, Zooropa failed to generate a hit single and was not as successful as its predecessor.

Zooropa spent two weeks at #1 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums Chart and has subsequently sold more than 7 million copies worldwide.

Country music legend Johnny Cash makes an appearance on the final track, "The Wanderer".

In 1998 Q magazine readers voted Zooropa the 90th greatest album of all time.
