White Cube

White Cube is a contemporary art venue in Hoxton in the East End of London. This long run-down area has been popular with Young British Artists since the 1990s. White Cube is housed in a former light industrial building. It was opened in 2000 and extended in 2002. A focal point of the Brit Art movement, it stages individual and group exhibitions featuring works by the likes of Damien Hirst.
