Wyre is one of the Orkney Islands in Scotland, lying south east of Rousay.

The island is known for Cubbie Roo's Castle , built in about 1150, for the twelfth century St Mary's Chapel , for its grey and common seals, and for the poet Edwin Muir, born on Wyre.

Ferries sail from the island to Tingwall on the Orkney Mainland, Egilsay and Rousay.
