ZBS

ZBS, a small non-profit audio production company, was founded in the early 1970s as a working commune operating from a donated plantation in Upper New York State. Eventually, the commune disintigrated and the organization became the outlet for the sonic ouvre of writer/producer Tom Lopez. His dramatic programs, notably Ruby, the Galactic Gumshoe and Travels with Jack Flanders are noted for their meticulous production values, low humor, and New Age mysticism. Lopez has won numerous awards including the Prix Italia, and his plays enjoy a cult following among aging counter-culturalists.
